Steel Sections (Profiles)
Hollow sections of steel (RHS, SHS and CHS) are available in metric sizes. Hot finished, hollow steel sections are supplied in accordance with EN10210 and cold formed sections EN10219. The capacities of hot finished and cold formed are not the direct equivalents therefore care is required to ensure correct grade is requested despite section dimensions being identical.
Universal Columns (UC)
Studley Special Steels offer a wide range of Universal Columns (UC). In particular, we specialise in high yield steel columns for use in low temperature environments. Low temperature impact testing is available with lengths from 6 metres to 20 metres as standard.
